Our England Trip

Schülerinnen und Schüler der achten und neunten Klassen besuchten Mitte Juni die englische Stadt Bath.

From the 19th June-23rd June, students from the 8th and 9th grade were on a school trip in a city called Bath in England. The teachers Miss Knorr and Miss Widdison were responsible for all thirteen students and arranged the trip with the help of Miss Čakarmišová.

The group arrived on Monday afternoon and had time to unpack. Then everyone had pizza together and the students could relax and/or explore the city in their groups.

On Tuesday, the teachers showed the students lots of beautiful places in Bath such as the Holburn Museum, the Roman Baths, the Circus, and the Royal Crescent, before going on a picnic in the Sydney Gardens with the whole group. In the evening, the students were free to do what they wanted.

On Wednesday, the group visited the city of Bristol, where they went to a museum, the M Shed, and had some free time again. There were many shops in Bristol. Next, everyone went for a small walk to a tower, and then had some fun at a park, despite the rain.

On Thursday morning, the teachers took the students on a hike to Sham Castle, which was quite exhausting due to the hot weather. For the rest of the day, the students had free time and two tasks to do: 1st find a person, who lives in Bath and interview them, and 2nd draw something they liked in Bath or write a text about it. In the evening everyone presented their work.

On the last day, the group left the hostel before going to London, where they saw Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye before going to the airport. At 11pm on the 23rd June everyone arrived at home, happy and safe.
